Fanart for The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Okay so I recently chose to re-read Cress, which is one of my favorites from the chronicles, Winter being the second, and decided to create another fanart for Cress and Thorne. Love these two by the way. Only gets better upon the second reading. This one, however, is from a scene in Winter, not Cress.

Anyway, since I recently made the decision to try to really work with the manga style fully, I decided to take this fan art in that direction. I also wanted to try some things I learned recently, including how to make nebulas and, how to make a montage in digital art. 

I had several songs stuck in my head during the process for this one, including:

Wish Upon a Star- yeah that one couldn't be helped, lol
Peter Pan- Kelsea Ballerini- not sure why, think it's because in some ways prior to meeting Cress, this song could have fit Thorne
Zero to Hero- Disney hold, lol
Castaway- Zac Brown Band- not sure either but, there is a reason, I'm sure, lol
